I first saw them with their music video’It’s All About You’ in which they were featured singing, dancing and playing instruments in a studio in New York City, New York. They played instruments such as the guitar and the keyboard and the group was dressed in leather jackets, denim shorts and black wigs.

Background and influences

The band was formed in fall of 2002 in the Greenville, South Carolina, United States, by three high school friends, David Pollack, Ben Hopkins and Mike Kinsella.

Their debut album, Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count, was released in May 2003 and was produced by John Agnello and David Crudup.

For most of their career, they have been signed to Fat Wreck Chords and their most recent album, Learning to Crawl, was released in the fall of 2011, which was produced by John Congleton and Dan Leacock.

Their first record company, home of Modest Mouse, Good Riddance and Chixdiggit, Fat Wreck Chords, was bought by the major label, Interscope Records in June 2006.

They have cited Modest Mouse and Yo La Tengo as influences, and the band has shown a connection to the indie pop music style of bands such as The Like, Bright Eyes, and Sufjan Stevens.

David Pollack and Ben Hopkins are the two vocalists and Mike Kinsella plays the keyboard.

I have spoken to several people that I know that are in bands and they have all told me the the same thing.

And I was like, “Oh, shit, I have to stop hanging around with these guys.”

My first band, we were all college students in Boston and we were all just getting into the scene and meeting each other.

We didn’t have a drummer, we had one guy that was playing at the time and we didn’t really have a name.
