Jim, I upgraded my team from VB6 to VB.net and have used it ever since. I am using it at the moment to convert a VB6 project to VB.net. We have a team of developers that can translate VB6 to VB.net but you are right, the transition to VB.net is harder.

My recommendation is that you read some of the VB6 to VB.net migration threads on this forum.

The VB.net team at is an excellent resource to get information on the conversion process. They have a forum for VB.net support and also have a wealth of information on VB.net.
